Though only a guest house, Banister House aims to provide good service, high standards and a friendly environment. Simply appointed but comfortable, most of the rooms are en suite and all are equipped with direct dial telephones, free WIFI internet access, tea/coffee making facilities and LCD Freeview televisions.
A cooked breakfast is available every morning (Monday to Friday, 7.00 am - 8.00 am; Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays, 8.00 am - 9.00 am). The guest house does not serve lunch or dinner but guests are welcome to bring in or order take-aways. It is suggested that you use the dining room where there is a television. The owners can supply plates and cutlery to make your meal more enjoyable. This facility is available until 9.30 pm. Banister Guest House is situated close to the city centre and there are a good selection of restaurants, pubs, bars and take-aways nearby. A list of these is kept at reception.
