As one of Southampton's oldest coaching inns, The Star hotel which is situated on the High Street, in a historical part of Southampton, about 650 metres from Southampton Port. Bedrooms have TV, telephone, tea/coffee, en suite, and some have a four-poster bed.

Click on a tab to see what they said ...The Georgian era saw the Star hotel begin to gain a great repute as the fashionable rendezvous for visitors to Southampton - then Famous as a spa & watering place. Coaches set out from the Hotel for London and Salisbury, connecting there with coaches for Bath and the West.
The Hotel is today well situated being only a few minutes walk from the Shopping Precinct, the old City Walls, and Ferries to the Isle of Wight. Ocean Village and Town Quaymarina developments are buzzing with attractions and are easy walking distances from the hotel.
The hotel has 44 bedrooms, each with a colour television, direct dial telephone and courtesy tea and coffee tray.
The hotel's lounge bar offers a range of cocktails and a wine list.
